~ Love Around The World ~

The Biggest event of the Year 2008 for Bellydance Discovery, "Love, Around The World" concert on Sat. 16th Feb. 2008, 6-8pm and 9-11pm shows @ Drama Centre Theater. This concert is a Bellydance Musical which never been staged before. Its a perfect combination of drama and bellydance which bring LOVE around the world and then together. In this concert, many new sparks are created through fusing bellydance, traditional dance, modern dance and drama together. You will see not only the awards winning troupe "Orientales" and over 30 select dancers from the students group.

~~~ Synopsis~~~

A most empowering 90minutes dance musical by The Orientales: Bellydance Discovery’s homegrown dancers and their students. They won Asia Global Bellydance Competition in Singapore and Taiwan 2007.

“Love Around The World” captures the magical journey of dance, rhythms and drama in a love story. A couple goes on a trip to China and discovers more than what they expected. What evolves is a modern love story showcasing the struggles in a relationship and display of cultural dances of various regions.
