Special Pilates Workshop by Angelina
Pilates is a set of mind-body exercises which helps to tone, align and streamline the body without bulking up the muscles. Its method is to workout on balancing, controlling and condition the body by focusing the center of the body – the abdomen, lower and upper back, inner thighs and butt. Which is called the ‘core’ or ‘powerhouse’ of the body. By focusing on the core strength and stabilization training. This provides a strong foundation to work on the rest of the body. Thus improves on muscular strength, endurance, flexibility and coordination.
In this workshop, the exercises are designed to help you, to create body awareness, improves dance postures, prevent injuries and to balance body and mind through concentration and control by Pilates method.
For the pilates workshop, participants are advised to bring their own exercise mat and two medium size towels. Dress in comfortable exercise attire, eg. cotton shirts, long or knee-length pants. No Jeans or Skirts.
